Electronic Request Form
The most convenient way to request records is by using our Electronic Request Form. Please download and complete the form in its entirety and either utilitize the "E-mail" button at the bottom of the form which will open your default e-mail program and auto-fill the appropriate recipient, OR manually attach the completed form to an email addressed to: clerkrecordrequest@waynecounty.gov
One of our most common inquiries is records for genealogical research. You must work directly with the offices involved or a local research agent until all records are available. Please note, most of our offices do not have the resources to do research on your behalf.
MyCase & Doxpop
MyCase and Doxpop are tools intended to help the public access court information easily and without having to make a trip to the courthouse. Please follow the the links below to access case records.
Marriage & Divorce Records
The fee for obtaining a copy of a marriage record is $1.00 for each copy, or $4.00 for a certified copy. If requesting a copy via mail, enclose a self-addressed stamped envelope for return of your copy.
